One Day At A Time

Yay for Hans! He is working on his comprehensive exam and has a self imposed deadline for April 30. I am so proud of him and he is doing a great job. We’re making progress, and if all goes well we’ll be out of school in December of THIS YEAR!!! I can hardly believe it.

We have been so blessed financially. We will have enough in savings so that he will not have to work this summer- so he is planning on getting in to research hard core over the summer- no more breaks/vacations. It’s all zone time- but he’s really good at zoning so I think it shouldn’t be a problem.

In other news I recently found out about my 10 year high school reunion. AMAZING. We didn’t have a 5 year because our peeps flaked out- so I am really quite thrilled that we are having a 10 year. It is the day after my brother graduates from pharmacy school in Las Vegas- so I will see if I can make it back to good ole Pleasant grove, Utah in time.

Of course I keep in touch with everyone I want to keep in touch with already, and then I think it would be a little strange- I’m sure everyone will be in there little cliques again. Then again a lot of my friends were also in the year before me or after me- so i won’t get to see them. I think it would still be fun though, just to see everyone and see their families and see how everyone has changed. 10 years can change a lot, but then a lot can stay the same.

My family reunion is also a week after my brother graduates. My in laws have also moved and my bro in law is home from his mission. He left when Jonny was not even a year old and he’s never met lachlan. Also my dad will be home from Iraq- so it would be fun to see everyone

So the kids and I might have us a little vacation while Hans is researching in our hot, buggy apartment. We’ll have to see how it all works out.
