Well, I think we pretty much have it down here. Jonathan is doing really well and is even going in public restrooms now (bleck!). I’m pretty happy with it all. We’re still working on getting him to poop on time and to go on his own. He says quite frequently. “Mom, can you come to the bafroom with me” So I’m not sure why he feels like he needs us in there with him- as he knows what to do. We’re trying to wean him of that. All in due time I suppose. It’s still not my favorite thing and I’m still not very patient about it sometimes (okay alot of times) but he’ll get it all eventually and he mostly does have it.

We still put him in a pullup at night and leave the door open for him to go in the middle of the night if he needs to. Some nights he’s been wet- but quite a few nights he has stayed dry. I’ve also just kept him in underwear for his nap and put one of those chux pads underneath him and he most always stays dry.

For the most part I think we’re done here. We are still planning a potty party for when he goes on his own and figures out the poop thing 100%- we’re pretty close and it gets better every day. I just have to remember that- it’s getting better before it gets worse.
