For those of you that don’t know, Hans decided to accept the offer from Facebook.  He wrote his own blog post about what a tough decision it was. Ultimately we are happy with our decision and excited for the new opportunities and adventures that lie ahead.  We are planning on leaving Las Cruces on our around July 27th.  We will be driving over two days into the Palo Alto area.  We have no clue where we will be living yet, but we will see what’s available via craigslist or another similar method.  Mostly we’re going to be doing a lot of praying, living out of suitcases, and trying to live as simply as possible for the next month.  I’m not really looking forward to packing or moving, but we do have quite a nice relocation package available through facebook, so I think it will be our easiest move yet.  I think we’ll also probably hire Merry Maids to come and do the final cleaning here, since we can afford to pay them with our moving allowance.
