and now that that’s over and it’s 2008
i’ve been on a blogging hiatus…but that’s ok. Hans and I went up to Utah for a month- from Dec 12-Jan 14th. It was the perfect amount of time (for me anyways) so that I could adjust to having two kids and also just to enjoy being with our family over the holidays. We’ve been home a week now and we are doing well.
Lachlan is a wonderful angel baby- he has restored my faith in babies. Jonathan was a good baby- but he was a hard baby, and he is sure testing my patience now that he’s 3.25 years old. He loves Lachlan- sometimes a little too much. My goal for this next year is to keep Lachlan alive- Jonathan sure likes to squish him, and rough and tumble with him. Thankfully Lachlan is forgiving and little enough to not remember it all.
My own personal goals are still in the workings. I hope to somehow integrate exercise back into my life. I don’t think I have enough energy for the high impact stuff I was doing before, but I have been taking the boys out for walks and it’s nice to be out in the sunshine and fresh air- even for a little bit.
I am also trying to get some kind of a consistent scripture and prayer regime going- I’ve been slacking, and have been missing the blessings that come with regular study. That can be a whole other blog post, but I won’t get in to that.
I don’t know how much I will be blogging- certainly not as much as before- but I will try and post regular updates- I’m sure as Lachlan gets older I will have more predictability in my life, but as for now I’m just going with the flow of things and enjoying it. I’d love to hear from any of you. An email, a phone call or a letter in the mail would do me fine.
We do however update our photo gallery pretty regularly- so if you want to click on that- you can see how we’re all changing and growing.
All for now
