My son turned 3 on october 16th. He is yet to have the desire to want to go potty. We transitioned to pull ups- which are really just more expensive diapers that he can happen to take off if he wants to use the potty (which he doesn't- sigh) The funny thing about pullups is that one of the 'mini ads' on the package (not this one) says "fits like real underwear" or something to that affect. It is a curious thing to note because really how do the manufacturers gather that information?

With fall here, I have been making alot of fall related dishes- mostly chili(and frequently-what a patient hubby I have), pumpkin cookies, pumpkin pie, pumpkin pancakes, and now these two...one i have made before and LOVE, the other we just made this last week for a halloween party.

And now for something that I dislike very much/borderline hate...but hate is such a strong word...so we'll stick with the "dislike with an absolute passion" category. First let me see if you can guess. This thing is actually a cartoon character. He is yellow, square, spongy and crude. If you haven't guessed by now, I'm not going to type it.

Today my son and I went to play group at the park. We had fun- he with his friends, and me with mine. We all kept an eye on our kids while enjoying each others company. All was going well until 1 little girl hit another little girl- not so much because she was mad, but just because of the reaction. The mom of the hitter was quite embarrassed and the mom of the hittee was very understanding. The mom of the hittee is my good friend Janae. I learned so much about her from this incident.

ok, so i have about a month left before the day my life is over. (LOL) Dec 4th, give or take a few weeks is our baby boys due date. my first one was two weeks early and i was not as prepared as i would have liked to have been. Ok, I take that back. The only thing I did not have when the baby came were nursing bras. Man that was no fun going into the store at a snails pace, asking "Can i please get one of those nice little carts to drive around the store"

As I venture off into this new world of blogging- I have to ask myself...which is the more worthwhile pursuit? Good old fashioned Journaling, (putting pen to paper, for those of you that are unfamiliar with the term ;) ), or Blogging?

trendy that is. I am so anti-trendy it hurts. Ok, it doesn't really hurt - I just wrote that for the dramatic effect. So in this world of blogging, I have surfed other peoples sites for a long time and always thought to myself. "What is the big deal with blogging, no way am I ever going to do that, everyone else is doing it, and I don't want to do it just because everyone else is doing it, it's too trendy"
